The Baobab Familial is a home for families, a living space and a gathering place in the neighborhood of Côte-des-Neiges. We support families, by promoting mutual exchange and by creating a sense of belonging to one’s community. At the heart of our commitment, the Baobab team warmly welcomes all families and is available and open to accompany them in their daily life. Welcome Home!

The services and activities at the Baobab have been created to attend to families’ needs and to assist them in their daily life. They are intended to help reinforce one’s parenting experience and enhance one’s self-esteem. The Baobab builds strong ties with families in order to better understand them in times of need.
Become a member of the Baobab!
All Côte-des-Neiges residents having children and who live as a family, under the same roof (children, spouse, parents, extended family or friends), can become members. The contribution is 2$ per family, per year. Each member commits to respecting the code of conduct, the mission, values and regulations of the Baobab Family. Furthermore, members have the right to vote at the annual general assembly and to run for the board of directors.
The membership card must be renewed every year. This can be done starting in July. The membership card is valid until August 31st of each year.
Registering for activities* :
1 Registration for all services, activities and outings can only be made in person and are done the following way: from 9:30am to 5pm on the date written in the Activity Calendars. Afterwards, families will be selected by a drawing lot if the registrations go over the amount of places!
2 All payments are required at registration.
3 Families must have a valid membership card one week before the date of registration for any service, activity or outing. If the card is not renewed, the participant may register on the waiting list for the chosen activity.
